Lax For The Cure
The Lax for the Cure Tournament is a two-weekend lacrosse tournament held annually to raise money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation in the fight against breast cancer. This past Summer 2022, the tournament marked its 15th anniversary and raised over $4 million dollars for the cause. As part of my involvement I designed bag tags, a special guest poster/magazine ad, the fundraising check, and the 15th anniversary logo to help drive attendance and add tangible keepsakes for players. I also attended both weekends of the tournament and took live event photography of players and final designs for social media content as well as an end-of-season summary report for Nike, the tournament's primary sponsor. My efforts helped add to experience of the tournament as a whole and aided in fundraising for a great cause!
